Dear Resident
🎃 Halloween Safety Advice from Your Neighbourhood Policing Team 🎃
With Halloween approaching, we want everyone to enjoy the celebrations safely and respectfully. If your children are taking part in trick-or-treating, they should always be accompanied by a responsible adult. Young trick-or-treaters should never go out alone. Stick to well-lit areas, remain with your group, and make sure someone knows where you are going. For your safety, only visit homes belonging to people you know and trust. Never enter the home of a stranger, regardless of how friendly they may seem. Unless specifically pre-arranged, children should not attend the homes of elderly or vulnerable residents. Please respect the wishes of local residents by not knocking on doors displaying a "No Trick or Treat" sign. Remember that not everyone welcomes the darker evenings and Halloween celebrations, and an unexpected knock at the door can cause distress or anxiety for some members of our community. Whilst Halloween is intended to be fun, any pranks or "tricks" must remain within the law. Criminal damage, anti-social behaviour, harassment, or behaviour that causes alarm, distress, or fear will not be tolerated and may result in police action. Let's work together to ensure everyone has a safe, enjoyable, and respectful Halloween.
Happy Halloween from your Neighbourhood Policing Team. 🎃👮♂️👮♀️ | ||
