📢 Your Local Policing Priorities for Kemsing

📢 Your Local Policing Priorities for Kemsing

Good afternoon Resident

Following engagement with residents, community feedback and local reporting, the 3 policing priorities for the Kemsing ward have now been identified as:

⚠️ Road Safety
Road safety continues to be a significant concern for local residents. Your neighbourhood policing team will be focusing on issues such as speeding, dangerous driving and other road traffic offences through targeted patrols, enforcement activity and engagement with partner agencies. Our aim is to improve safety for all road users, including pedestrians, cyclists and motorists.

🚗 Nuisance Vehicles
Concerns have been raised regarding vehicles being driven in an anti-social manner, causing excessive noise, disruption and concern within the community. Officers will continue to carry out proactive patrols, gather intelligence and work with partners to identify those responsible and take appropriate action where offences are identified.

🔐 Vehicle Crime
Vehicle crime remains a priority due to its impact on victims and the community. This includes theft of vehicles, theft from vehicles and interference with parked vehicles. Officers will be conducting high-visibility patrols, supporting crime prevention initiatives and targeting offenders responsible for vehicle-related crime.

👮 Your local neighbourhood policing team will be working alongside partner agencies and the community to address these priorities over the coming months. Information provided by residents is invaluable in helping us identify emerging issues and direct resources effectively. If you witness crime, anti-social behaviour or have information relating to these priorities, please report it via the Kent Police website or by calling 101. In an emergency, always dial 999.

Kind regards,

Ashleigh
