Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO)

Following proactive work by local SNT officers, prolific shoplifter Anthony Lewis has been made subject to a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO), which will remain in force for five years.

The CBO was secured to help protect local businesses and the wider community from repeat offending. The order includes the following prohibitions:

Not to enter the Worlds End Estate, SW10, except when travelling through the area on public transport without alighting, unless required to do so in an official emergency (excluding emergencies of his own making), or when attending court or a solicitor's office by prior written appointment and able to provide proof on request.

Not to enter King's Road, SW3, from the junction with Old Church Street to its junction with Sloane Square, SW1W, including Peter Jones, except when travelling through the area on public transport without alighting, unless required to do so in an official emergency (excluding emergencies of his own making), or when attending court or a solicitor's office by prior written appointment and able to provide proof on request.

Not to enter Co-op, 471 King's Road, SW10.

Not to enter Sainsbury's, 268 Fulham Road, SW10.

Not to enter Sainsbury's, 35 Lots Road, SW10.

Breaching any condition of a Criminal Behaviour Order is a criminal offence and may result in arrest and further court action. This outcome demonstrates the commitment of local officers and partner agencies in tackling persistent offenders and supporting businesses affected by retail crime.
