What’s been happening? Good news and Arrests by the team.

On 15th October a crime prevention brainstorming meeting was held with representatives from the Travel lodge and The Toby Carvery to discuss ways to improve safety and reduce opportunities for crime within the car park.

The meeting provided an opportunity to share concerns, identify potential vulnerabilities and explore practical solutions. Things discussed were improved lighting, CCTV, security measures and increased awareness of any suspicious activity.

This was a very productive meeting and going forward hopefully we will see a reduction of criminal activity because of any positive changes made.

The local PCSO’s have also been out and about and with their eagle eyes came across a vehicle with no tax and no insurance, which has been seized and taken off the road.
