Weekly round-up from your local Neighbourhood Team

Weekly round-up from your local Neighbourhood Team

This is a message from St Michael’s Team 1 to update you on what your local officers have been doing this week.

✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team ✅

Your neighbourhood officers have worked closely with the Coventry City Council, and other departments within West Midlands Police to address the on-going Anti-Social Behaviour issues at Priory Gardens and Lady Herbert’s Gardens. Thanks to our proactive actions, including high-visibility and plain clothes patrols, we were able to reach some fantastic results. A number of individuals were issued with Community Interventions to manage their problematic behaviour. A planned operation with Operation Support Unit resulted in a number of seizure of Class B drugs, and the offenders apprehended and dealt with accordingly.

We encourage local residents and businesses to not hesitate to report Anti-Social behaviour to us.  Your information is essential in helping us keep the communities safe. You can reach us on 999 in emergency, or by dialing 101 or using our Online reporting system: Report | West Midlands Police

St Michael’s officers are continuing patrols within the Coventry City Centre, targeting retail crime. Officers on patrol managed to apprehend a shoplifter in the act, and secured 2 charges. A prolific offender was also discovered in Breach of a Criminal Behaviour, and thanks to the officers’ swift actions, the offender was arrested, and received a lengthy prison sentence.
