Burglary/Theft of vehicle

Good afternoon,

Welcome all especially our new users of Derbyshire Alert, and I do hope you find these messages useful.

I apologise for not sending out any messages recently but we have all been extremely busy, not just in our local areas but having to help others further a field.

There has today been a Burglary with a theft of a car on the edge of Acresford near to the Cricketts Inn.

Between 11.30am - 11.50am today, 17th of October offenders have gained entry via front window and stolen a large amount of cash and a watch as well as taking car keys and stealing the car.

Car is a white Peugeot 3008 containing children's car seats and pushchairs.

The offenders are believed to have turned up on a motorbike and committed this crime as CCTV shows one offender wearing a black helmet and the other offender wearing a black and yellow helmet.

If anyone has seen or heard anything which believes will help us with our enquiries then please ring 101 and quote 26000630728

Furthermore, if anyone would like a visit from Safer Homes , which is a free service that provides advice for residents who would like added security measures put in place, free of charge then please let me know.
