Speed Checks

Dear Resident,

Speed Check Conducted on Halstead Road

On Friday morning, officers from the local neighbourhood policing team carried out speed checks on Halstead Road following community concerns about vehicle speeds in the area.

We are pleased to report that all drivers observed during the operation were complying with the speed limit. During the check, officers monitored almost 50 vehicles and no speeding offences were detected.

Thank you to all motorists for driving responsibly and helping to keep our roads safe. The neighbourhood team will continue to carry out speed enforcement and high-visibility patrols across the area to address concerns raised by residents and improve road safety for everyone.

If you have concerns about speeding or other road safety issues in your area, please report them via the police website or by calling 101.

Kind Regards
