Good morning Resident

We are seeing an marked increase of reports of Theft from motor vehicle type offences. 

In some of the offences reported the victim is unsure if the vehicle was even locked. We have had reports where items such as a wallet or purse or handbag has been left on the front seat containing bank cards, credit cards, debit cards, passports all very important private details,  ( laptops and some of these laptops could be work laptops containing personal information ) tablet devices, and yes cash is still left in vehicles.

This is just a snap shot of some of the items we see stolen from vehicles on crime reports.

So this is just a big ask from the Paddock, Delves and Pleck neighbourhood team to all of our residents to please make sure you do not leave anything on display in your vehicle.
