Handsworth Wood Neighbourhood Team Update

Handsworth Wood Neighbourhood Team Update

Dear Resident,

Handsworth Wood Neighbourhood update – 01/10/2026 – 17/10/2026

Welcome to this week’s crime and community update for the Handsworth Wood area. Our neighbourhood team remains committed to tackling key crime issues affecting residents, especially around domestic abuse, robbery, burglary, and vehicle crime. We also continue to engage with schools and local partners to provide early intervention and support.

The last couple of weeks officers have spent time on Oxhill Road, Rookery Road, Windermere Road and College Road, supporting and identifying homeless individuals. If help and support does not remedy issues, officers will be using enforcement procedures to tackle anti – social behaviour issues.
