Liberty Christian Connections Sunday Service

Liberty Christian Connections Sunday Service

PCSO Sethi and PCSO Alfred were invited to attend the Liberty Christian Connections Sunday Service at Liberty House, 1 Clarks Road, Ilford, Essex, IG1 1FT on 18 October 2026 from 9:00am to 12:30pm.

As part of the visit, officers set up a community engagement stall, providing attendees with the opportunity to speak with their local Safer Neighbourhood Team about community safety concerns, crime prevention advice, and local policing priorities. The stall attracted a great deal of interest throughout the morning and allowed officers to engage with members of the congregation and wider community.

The service was very well attended, and officers received a warm welcome from both the congregation and the management team. During the event, PCSO Sethi was invited to address the congregation from the stage, where he introduced the Met Engage platform and encouraged residents to sign up to receive updates from their local officers. He also promoted the upcoming Ilford Town Ward Community Meeting, which will be held on 24 October 2026 at 10:00am at Vine Church.

The main focus of the engagement was to promote Met Engage, encourage community involvement in local policing, and share general crime prevention advice. The event provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen relationships between local officers and the community while highlighting the importance of working together to keep Ilford safe.

The Ilford Town Safer Neighbourhood Team would like to extend its sincere thanks to Liberty Christian Connections and its management team for their invitation, hospitality, and support in making the visit such a positive and welcoming experience.
