Online Saftey

Dear Resident's 👋

Just a quick reminder to stay safe online. Please be mindful of what you share, be cautious of unexpected messages, and think twice before clicking links or providing personal information.

Artificial intelligence and digital technology can be incredibly useful, but they can also be misused. If something doesn’t feel right—whether it’s a message, image, or request, trust your instincts and double-check before responding.

A few simple ways to stay digitally safe:

✅ Use strong, unique passwords for each account

✅ Turn on two-factor authentication (2FA) where possible

✅ Check privacy settings on your social media accounts

✅ Be cautious of friend requests from people you don’t know

✅ Don’t share personal details like your address, phone number, or financial info

✅ Watch out for scams, fake profiles, and messages creating urgency

✅ Take a moment to verify information before sharing or reposting

Looking out for each other helps keep our community safe. If you have any concerns or believe you’ve been targeted, please report it through the appropriate channels.

Stay safe and take care 👍

Kind Regards

PCSO Singh
