Community Update

We are aware of recent concerns regarding the use of catapults in the South Ashford area.

In recent days, officers stopped two male juveniles from the Stanhope area, after they ran away from Police. Following stop searches, both were found to be in possession of catapults and projectiles.

Both individuals are currently being investigated, and Community Protection Warnings are being issued in relation to their behaviour and the impact it has on the community.

We understand the impact these incidents have on the local community and will continue to take positive action where offences and anti-social behaviour are identified.

Please continue to report any ongoing concerns or incidents involving catapults to Kent Police. Information provided by the public helps us identify those responsible and take appropriate action.

Thank you for your continued support.
