Crime Prevention, rise in industrial fly tipping across Suffolk.

Crime Prevention, rise in industrial fly tipping across Suffolk.

We have seen a rise in reports of large-scale industrial fly tipping incidents across Suffolk.

Whether it's a country lane, farm track, industrial estate, or residential road, fly-tipping blights our environment, costs money to clear up and has a significant impact on local communities.

✅ Consider installing CCTV or trail cameras where lawful and appropriate at vulnerable locations
✅ Restrict access to vulnerable land and private tracks where possible
✅ Always use licensed waste carriers when disposing of rubbish

✅ Report suspicious vehicle activity, particularly waste lorries operating at unusual hours

✅ If safe to do so, record vehicle details including the registration number, photographs or video footage

If you witness fly tipping in progress call the Police on 999

To report small scale fly tipping contact your local Council

For larger scale industrial fly tipping contact the Environment Agency
