Shed Security Advice

Sheds often contain valuable items such as bicycles, tools and garden equipment. To help protect your property:

Ensure sheds are secured with good quality closed-shackle padlocks and robust hasps.

Consider fitting additional security measures such as shed alarms, security lighting or CCTV.

Secure valuable items inside the shed with ground or wall anchors where possible.

Mark and register property using a recognised property marking scheme.

Keep access points such as side gates locked and secure.

Trim hedges and fencing where appropriate to improve visibility and reduce opportunities for offenders to conceal themselves.

Thank you for any assistance in advance.
