Walk about by West Wickham Councillors and Police on the High Street

Today, 23.10.2026, the West Wickham police team were invited to join Councillor Daniel Burden and the Assembly member Thomas Turrell who braved on through the wet and stormy conditions visiting local businesses. This was to obtain knowledge on how better to support our amazing High Street Stores.

Many of our hard-working store owners spent time talking with the councillors and the police about the positive aspects of our high street and some of their concerns too.

It was good to have our local representatives taking time to meet with the businesses face to face. A lot of topics were covered, with each store giving a different account as to their day-to-day experiences.

Thank you to those who gave their voice during our West Wickham’s Councillors visit.
