Beat Officers Out and About in Luton

This week while carrying out high-visibility patrols in the Luton area, Beat Officers spotted a driver who seemed to have forgotten one important accessory... their seatbelt! 🚗❌🔗

After stopping the vehicle and carrying out routine checks, officers discovered that the driver wasn't in possession of a valid UK or EU driving licence. Unfortunately, this also meant their insurance wasn't valid either. 📄❌

As a result, a traffic offence report was issued, and the vehicle took an unexpected trip... on the back of a recovery truck! 🚛👋

This is a good reminder that: ✅ Seatbelts save lives ✅ You must hold a valid driving licence ✅ Insurance is only valid when you're legally entitled to drive
