Round-up from your local Neighbourhood Team

Round-up from your local Neighbourhood Team

Remember - The Clocks go back this weekend ⏰🔙💤!

This week our focus is around safe fireworks 🎇sale and use 🥽. We are working with our partners in Trading Standards to ensure the safe and legal sale.

🎃This week we are conducting Halloween patrols; keeping Halloween fun - Will we be giving out treats? 🍬🍪🍡

If your children are taking part in trick-or-treating, they should always be accompanied by a responsible adult👩🏽‍🦰 .

Young trick-or-treaters should never go out alone.

Stick to well-lit areas, remain with your group, and make sure someone knows where you are going.

For your safety, only visit homes belonging to people you know and trust.

Never enter the home of a stranger, regardless of how friendly they may seem. Unless specifically pre-arranged, children should not attend the homes of elderly or vulnerable residents.

Please respect the wishes of local residents by not knocking on doors displaying a "No Trick or Treat" sign. Remember that not everyone welcomes the darker evenings and Halloween celebrations, and an unexpected knock at the door can cause distress or anxiety for some members of our community.

Whilst Halloween is intended to be fun, any pranks or "tricks" must remain within the law. Criminal damage, anti-social behaviour, harassment, or behaviour that causes alarm, distress, or fear will not be tolerated and may result in police action.

Download and print our ‘Sorry, no trick or treaters here’ poster so they can display it in their window. Poster Download.

Let's work together to ensure everyone has a safe, enjoyable, and respectful Halloween.

This week we have recovered a stolen car which will be forensically examined🔍🔬 .

We have charged a male with shop thefts and sent him straight to Court - He didn't pass GO!

We have been investigating a stalking Offence and safeguarded the victim and her children.

Happy Half Term 🚸and Halloween from your Neighbourhood Policing Team. 🎃 👮🏽👮🏽‍♀️
