Working with local businesses this Halloween

As Halloween approaches, we are continuing to work proactively with our local communities and businesses to help prevent anti-social behaviour and keep people safe.
 

Over the weekend, our officers the Ashford Neighbourhood Policing Team will be visiting local shops and retailers throughout the district to discuss the sale of eggs and flour to those under 16 years of age. These items are often used in nuisance and anti-social behaviour incidents during the Halloween period.

We will also be providing posters for businesses to display and offering crime prevention advice regarding the placement and security of these products to reduce the risk of theft and financial loss.

By working together with local businesses, we hope to minimise disruption and ensure that everyone can enjoy a safe and enjoyable Halloween.
