Vehicle Crime - Lock your vehicle

Vehicle Crime - Lock your vehicle

We are continuing to see numerous thefts from vehicles overnight, with many incidents involving vehicles that have been left unlocked.

CCTV footage shows that suspects are often trying vehicle door handles to find unlocked cars, rather than using sophisticated methods to gain entry.

Although we have made arrests in connection with vehicle crime, unfortunately, multiple individuals are believed to be involved, and incidents continue to occur.

Please help us prevent further offences by taking a few simple precautions:

A few seconds spent securing your vehicle could save you the inconvenience and distress of becoming a victim of crime.

If you see anything suspicious or have any information please contact South Wales Police via 101 or 999 in an emergency or if the persons are still at the location actively breaking into vehicles.  Thank you for your continued support and vigilance.
