Burglar and parcel thief arrested by your local neighbourhood officers

Over the last 2 days there has been a policing operation to arrest and locate a wanted male who police have identified after following up on several reports.

This suspect has been linked to several burglaries and theft of parcels from door steps.

The officers were struck by the impact on victims who had been repeatedly targeted by the same suspect.

Some were not reimbursed for goods that were stolen.

In relation to parcel theft we urge residents to consider delaying delivery so that they can receive goods personally or where possible arrange delivery to lockers where goods can be stored securely.

Unfortunately people do search porches and gardens and this is happening across the borough.

We will continue to relentlessly pursue those that target our residents.

Your safer neighbourhood teams know what is going on in your local areas and we are constantly adapting to our approach.

On a lighter note the same officer with the excellent result today managed to suspend herself upside down chasing the last suspect..

Today she kept herself upright… Great skills!
