Rainham and Wennington SNT

While out on patrol today, we came across a young swan (cygnet) that appeared to be in distress at the side of a busy road. Concerned for its welfare and safety, we carefully secured the bird and transported it to our office. The cygnet is now safe and being cared for while we await collection by a local wildlife sanctuary.

Thank you to everyone involved in helping ensure the bird's safety.
