🚔 Prolific Vehicle Crime Offender Charged 🚔

On 26 October 2026, officers from the A Relief City Centre Neighbourhood Team arrested a male responsible for a series of offences across Manchester city centre.

The offender, who had been targeting vehicles in city centre car parks, has been charged with five theft from motor vehicle offences and two criminal damage offences. He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at court on 28 October 2026.

This result was made possible through the continued efforts of officers from the B Relief City Centre Neighbourhood Team, who carried out the interview and completed further enquiries while the suspect was in custody, securing charges for all seven offences.

🚗 Theft from motor vehicles remains a priority for neighbourhood policing teams across the city centre. We will continue to proactively target offenders, investigate reports, and work with our communities to reduce vehicle crime and keep Manchester safe.
