Halloween Community Message.

As Halloween approaches, we're encouraging everyone to be "frightfully thoughtful" when taking part in trick or treating.

Please help ensure Halloween remains a fun and positive experience for everyone in our communities by remembering:

🎃 Only visit homes where it is clear that trick or treaters are welcome.

🎃 Respect residents who do not wish to take part and avoid calling at their homes.

🎃 Be considerate of those who may feel uneasy about unexpected visitors.

🎃 Parents and carers should ensure children and young people stay safe while out celebrating.

👮‍♂️ West Mercia Police will be carrying out high-visibility patrols across the region on Halloween evening to provide reassurance and help keep people safe.

📢 If you witness anti-social behaviour or anything suspicious, please report it online via:

🏡 Residents can sign up to the free Neighbourhood Matters service to receive updates and engage directly with local policing teams regarding crime and anti-social behaviour in their area:

🪟 If you do not wish to receive trick or treat callers, or know someone who doesn't, please consider displaying a "No Trick or Treaters" poster in your window.

Download a "No Trick or Treaters" poster for your window:

Thank you for helping make Halloween a safe, respectful and enjoyable occasion for everyone. 🎃👻
