Weekly round-up from your local Neighbourhood Team

Hello Resident,

✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team ✅

Over the last week, the Sutton Trinity Team have been busy patrolling the streets, preventing crime and also dealing with offences already committed.

The Trinity Team whilst on patrol have seized two vehicles that had been used in criminal activity over the last few days. These vehicles have now been taken off the roads and cannot be used to commit any further offences. One driver was also dealt with for disqualified driving and traffic document offences.

The Trinity Team also dealt with a prolific shoplifter, who has been charged for these offences, and will be in court in the near future. The team are regularly patrolling to deter shoplifters from the area and prevent further offending. We are also working closely with partner agencies for long term intervention with these individuals.

A number of stop searches have been utilised resulting in cannabis being taken off the street. Stop searches are utilised to ensure members of the public are safe, and not being put at risk by weapons.

The team have also charged a male with 20 breaches of a community protection notice. The team regularly monitor any warnings and notices provided and will deal with breaches accordingly.

If you notice any criminal activity, no matter how big or small, please report it, as it helps the team to continue building intelligence in the area, making Sutton Trinity a safer place.

✅ Crime Prevention Tips:

With darker nights and spooky season fast approaching, there is a possibility of an increase of anti-social behaviour or burglaries. Extra patrols are being conducted to deter and prevent this, however if you ensure all doors and windows are locked, as well as valuables out of sight, this will help to protect your property.
