Weekly round-up from your local Neighbourhood Team

Weekly Update from your local Radford NPT

Dear Members

Here’s your weekly update from myself and the rest of the team.

What’s Been Happening

. Burglaries

None reported this week 😊

. Vehicle Crime

Unfortunately, there has been quite few reports this week.

There have been six reports of vehicles being broken into and items being stolen. These have happened all over Radford and not on one particular street or area.

Please always remove items from your car when you park up, don’t put temptation in the way of the thieves.

Three vehicles have also been stolen from around the area. All were locked and secure at the time so unknown how entry was gained into them.

Your CCTV helps us solve real crimes. We are urging local businesses, residents, and community groups to sign up to our CCTV registry online: CCTV Registry | West Midlands Police. It only takes five minutes and can help us bring more opportunistic burglars and thieves to justice.

You can mark all property with a UV marker making it easier for lost or stolen property to be returned should the worst happen. It is also a good idea to keep a record of where you marked the property and note down any serial numbers. You can register valuables at www.immobilise.com

. In other News

Well, the team have been busy as usual.

We continued our investigations into crimes that had been reported and managed to identify offenders and arrests made.

After reports were received of some suspicious behaviour at a property, officers attended and guess what???

Only a cannabis factory!!! 118 plants found. Some already dried and ready to sell. Well, that was soon dismantled and all the drugs seized. We have put a message out on X advising the owner to come and see us if he wants his property back 😊

Another bit of advice, if you let police into your house, leaving all your drugs lying around will result in them being seized and you being arrested.

One arrested and charged with Possession With Intent to Supply.

We continued our patrols in areas that have been highlighted to us as Anti-Social Behaviour hotspots. Our patrols are working as a deterrent.

If you have any concerns, please let us know and we will do our best to help.

Until next week

Stay safe everyone.

If you have any information about crime in your area you can let us know 100% anonymously by contacting CRIMESTOPPERS 0800 555 111
