Murder Investigation Following Fatal Shooting in Enfield
We are appealing for the public’s assistance following a fatal shooting in Enfield.
On Monday, 19 October 2026, at approximately 9.30pm, police were called to reports of a shooting at a public house on Hertford Road, Enfield.
Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance. Sadly, a 35-year-old man died at the scene despite the efforts of emergency services.
A murder investigation has been launched, and detectives have released a CCTV image of a person they would like to identify and speak to in connection with the incident.
We understand that this incident will cause concern within the local community and would like to reassure residents that officers are working urgently to establish the circumstances and identify those responsible.
We are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident, recognises the person pictured, or has any information or relevant CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage to come forward.
