🚲 Pedal Power combines with security, at Teddington BMX Track! 🚲

Officers had a fantastic time at the recent bike marking event at Teddington Lock BMX Track, in Ham, where more than 30 bicycles were security marked to help protect owners and deter thieves.

The event gave us the chance to speak with lots of local residents, share crime prevention advice, and hear about the issues that matter most to the community. It was great to see so many cyclists of all ages making the most of the track and taking positive steps to keep their bikes safe.

Despite several officers casting envious glances towards the BMX jumps and expressing a keen interest in testing their cycling skills, unfortunately not a single rider offered up their bike for a demonstration. Perhaps this was a wise decision, as preserving officer dignity is also an important part of community safety!
