We are appealing for information following several incidents that have happened in Woodmancote Park, next to Woodmancote Village Hall. the latest being on 10/10/2026 in the late afternoon. A/N was walking their dog off lead, when two other dogs ran over and one of the two dogs pinned the owners dog down by the neck. Fortunately on this occasion there were no injuries, however we are keen to try and trace the owner of the two dogs so that we can provide safeguarding advice and prevent something more serious happening in the future. The two dogs are described as being of a Bulldog type, possibly French Bulldog's. The dogs are relatively small, but are strongly built. They have brown and white front legs and white faces. The rest of them are coloured tan brown. They were both wearing black harnesses. The white male walking the dogs is described as around 70 years old with grey hair and around 5ft 10". He was of biggish build with dark brown eyebrows, no facial hair, no glasses and no visible piercings or tattoos. He was wearing baggy dark blue jeans and a navy blue baggy waterproof jacket with grey lines down the arms and dark trainers. We have a photograph of the male and his two dogs, however following extensive enquiries and regularly attending the park we have so far been unable to identify the male. We are appealing to the public now to see if anyone can identify the male based on his description and the description of the dogs, or if anyone has experienced similar from the same dogs. If you have any further information about this incident, we’d like to hear from you.
