🎃 Halloween in Woodside - Have Fun and Stay Safe! 🎃

Dear Woodside Residents,

Tomorrow is Halloween, and we know many families across Woodside will be looking forward to an evening of trick-or-treating and community celebrations, we will also be out on the beat ensuring residents are safe tomorrow.

As your local neighbourhood policing team, we'd like to wish everyone a fun, safe and enjoyable Halloween while remembering to be respectful of one another and our community.

👻 If you are trick or treating:

Go with friends or a responsible adult.

Stay in well-lit areas and be aware of traffic when crossing roads.

Wear reflective clothing or carry a torch so you can be seen.

🎭 Costume safety:

Make sure costumes fit properly to avoid trips and falls.

Consider face paint instead of masks that may restrict your vision.

🏡 Residents:

If you're welcoming visitors, keep pathways well lit and free from hazards.

If you'd prefer not to receive trick-or-treaters, a polite sign can help avoid any misunderstandings.

🤝 Halloween should be an opportunity for neighbours to come together and enjoy themselves. Please be considerate of others, respect people's homes and property, and remember that not everyone chooses to take part in the festivities.

🚔 In an emergency, call 999. For non-emergency matters, contact us on 101 or report online.

From all of us on the Woodside Neighbourhood Policing Team, have a fantastic Halloween and help make it a safe and enjoyable evening for everyone in our community. 🎃

Regards,

PCSO DILLEY
