E-Scooter Seized

During our Autumn Nights patrols, officers from your local Safer Neighbourhood Team stopped a youth riding an illegal e-scooter on roads and pavements.

The 15-year-old rider was reported for driving without insurance and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence. The e-scooter was seized and removed to Charlton Car Pound for disposal, and the rider was taken home and returned to the care of their parents.

Please remember that privately owned e-scooters cannot be legally used on public roads, pavements, or cycle paths. Let's work together to keep our communities safe.
