Firework Safety In The Community

Firework Safety In The Community

🎆 Fireworks Safety Advice for Halloween and Bonfire Night 🎃🔥

Dear Residents,

As Halloween and Bonfire Night approach, many of us will be looking forward to enjoying fireworks with family and friends. Fireworks can be a fantastic way to celebrate, bringing colour, excitement and fun to our communities.

However, it's important that everyone stays safe and uses fireworks responsibly. Please make sure you:

Buy fireworks from reputable retailers.

Always follow the manufacturer's safety instructions.

Keep fireworks out of reach of children.

Respect your neighbours, pets, and local community when setting off fireworks.

Consider attending organised public displays where possible.

To help keep our neighbourhoods safe, there will be an increased police presence across the Halloween and Bonfire Night period. Officers will be carrying out patrols, engaging with residents, responding to incidents, and taking action where necessary against antisocial behaviour or the misuse of fireworks.

By working together and celebrating responsibly, we can help ensure that everyone enjoys a safe, fun, and memorable Halloween and Bonfire Night.

Stay safe, be considerate of others, and report any concerns to the police.

Thank you for your continued support.
