🚪 Community Engagement – Manor Cottages

Today, the team visited Manor Cottages, Northwood, delivering crime prevention leaflets and speaking with residents about the risks of rogue traders and bogus callers.

Unfortunately, one resident had already been defrauded out of money after engaging with a doorstep caller, highlighting the importance of staying vigilant. 

Residents are reminded not to agree to work or hand over money to anyone who unexpectedly calls at their door, no matter how convincing they may seem. Always check identification, seek independent advice, and never feel pressured into making a decision on the spot.

If in doubt, close the door and contact a trusted family member, friend, or the police for advice. Stay safe and remain vigilant. 🔒🏡
