Staying Safe and Reporting ASB this Halloween |
||||
|
Dear Resident, Tonight is Halloween and we want to ensure that everyone in our community can enjoy the evening safely and responsibly. While this is a fun and exciting time of year for many families, we also recognise that it can be an intimidating or distressing time for some of our more vulnerable or elderly residents. Your local Neighbourhood Policing Teams will be conducting high-visibility patrols across the area this evening to provide reassurance, deter anti-social behaviour (ASB), and ensure the night passes safely for everyone.
Advice for Trick-or-Treaters and Parents: Tackling Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB): While the vast majority of people enjoy Halloween responsibly, a small minority may use the occasion as an excuse for unacceptable behaviour. Humberside Police takes ASB seriously. It is not "just a prank" if it causes harassment, alarm, distress, or damage to someone's property.
We need your help to keep our communities safe. If you experience or witness anti-social behaviour, please report it to us so we can direct our patrols effectively.
You can download and print a "No Trick or Treaters" poster directly from this message to display in your window or on your door.
