Not everyone wants a knock at the door this Halloween! Grab a poster for your front door/window! We appreciate that Halloween is an exciting time for many children and families. However, not everyone wishes to take part, and some residents, particularly elderly or vulnerable people, may find unexpected callers distressing. Don’t want trick or treaters knocking at your door? Our ‘No Trick or Treat’ posters are now available FREE of charge from the following locations: Co-op – Chipping Norton Co-op – Milton-under-Wychwood Co-op – Charlbury Simply collect a poster and display it clearly in your front window or on your door to let trick or treaters know that you do not wish to be disturbed. A reminder to parents and young people: Please respect households displaying these posters. Halloween should be enjoyable for everyone, including those who choose not to participate. Antisocial Behaviour Halloween is a time for fun, but intimidating behaviour, harassment, vandalism and other forms of antisocial behaviour are not acceptable. If you experience or witness antisocial behaviour, please report it to Thames Valley Police by calling 101 or using our online reporting service. Always call 999 if a crime is in progress or someone is in immediate danger. Have a safe, enjoyable and respectful Halloween! Chipping Norton Neighbourhood Policing Team
