🎃👻 Halloween Patrols in the Town Centre 👻🎃

Whilst ghosts, ghouls and witches were out haunting the streets this Halloween, officers have been carrying out foot patrols across the town centre.

A number of little monsters causing nuisance and anti-social behaviour were spoken to and moved on from various locations before they could cause too much mischief. 🧙‍♀️

Officers also paid a visit to the Well Head area, where we came across a group who appeared, at first glance, to be dressed for Halloween. However, it quickly became apparent that these weren't zombies rising from the grave, but known drug users waiting for what we suspected may have been a drug drop. 🧟

Unfortunately, simply waiting for someone is not enough to give officers grounds to carry out a search. However, details have been recorded and the group dispersed. We will continue to keep a close eye of newt on the area and monitor any suspicious activity. 👀

While no arrests were made, it wasn't all a grave situation. The suspected drug drop was interrupted, proving that sometimes a visible police presence is enough to make criminal activity vanish faster than a vampire at sunrise. 🦇
