PCSO Khan (Valentines Ward) and PCSO Rahman (Newbury Ward) carried out a joint Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) patrol within Valentines Ward, focusing on areas identified through community concerns and previous reports of youth-related nuisance and disorder. The patrol provided a high-visibility police presence at key locations, including parks, open spaces, and residential areas. Officers engaged with local residents, offering reassurance and encouraging them to report any ongoing ASB concerns. Several members of the public were spoken with, and positive feedback was received regarding the increased police presence in the area. Throughout the patrol, officers engaged with groups of young people, providing advice around appropriate behaviour and identifying any emerging issues. The joint deployment also enabled effective intelligence sharing between wards and strengthened partnership working to address recurring community concerns. Outcome: Increased public reassurance, positive community engagement, intelligence gathered, and continued monitoring of ASB hotspot locations by both ward teams.
