Firework Safety

🎆🔥 Firework Safety Reminder for Residents 🔥🎆

As we head into fireworks season, let's all do our part to celebrate safely, responsibly, and with consideration for those around us. 🏡💙

✅ Only buy fireworks from reputable retailers and check they have the correct safety markings. 🛒🎇
✅ Read and follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully before lighting any fireworks. 📖✔️
✅ Keep a safe distance and never go back to a firework once it has been lit. 🚫🔥
✅ Supervise children at all times around fireworks and sparklers. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦✨
✅ Keep pets safe indoors and provide a quiet, comfortable space for them. 🐶🐱🏠
✅ Have a bucket of water or hose nearby in case of an emergency. 🚰🪣
✅ Dispose of used fireworks safely by soaking them in water before placing them in a bin. ♻️💧
✅ Never throw fireworks or use them in public places. 🚫🎆

Please be mindful of your neighbours, especially: 👶 Young children
👵 Elderly residents
🐾 Pet owners
❤️ Anyone who may be vulnerable to loud noises

If you witness anti-social behaviour, the dangerous use of fireworks, or criminal damage, please report it via 101 or online at 🌐 www.staffordshire.police.uk.
