Drug deal foiled.

Great work from PCs Rachel and Rasa yesterday. 

They noticed a failed drug deal near the Green and followed one of the parties on. They then managed to get stop an active drug deal in progress with a male having multiple bags of suspected crack cocaine and heroin on him. 

There is a high threshold for CPS to charge for ‘possession with intent to supply’ i.e. drug dealing, but we are going to give it a go, rather than settling just for possession. We’ve sent off for the drugs to be tested and phone examined and should hear back in a few months. We hope then to be able to take the case to the CPS.
