We are currently working to strengthen coverage across Harlow

Dear Resident

I hope you are well.

I am reaching out as Chairman of Harlow Neighbourhood Watch to invite residents of Pitman Fields to consider becoming local Neighbourhood Watch Coordinators.

We are currently working to strengthen coverage across Harlow, and Pitman Fields is an area where we would greatly benefit from a small team of engaged residents who can help support communication, share updates, and act as a friendly point of contact for neighbours.

The role is completely voluntary and flexible. Coordinators do not carry out patrols or enforcement; instead, they help keep the community informed, encourage neighbourliness, and pass on relevant information from Essex Police and the Essex Neighbourhood Watch Association.

If you are community‑minded, approachable, and interested in helping make Pitman Fields a safer and more connected place to live, I would be very pleased to hear from you.

Please feel free to reply to this email or contact me directly:

Thank you for considering this opportunity.

Kindest regards,

Peter Birchmore Chairman, Harlow Neighbourhood Watch
