St Peters Church Yard- Dogs on Leads |
Early in October 2026 one of our senior residents, from New Greens, was walking her two greyhounds in St Peter's Churchyard, St Peter's Street, St Albans. Her dogs were aggressively approached by another dog who was not on a lead . This led to one of her dog's being bitten and traumatised. The lady in question is in discussion with the Church with regards to installing some “Keep your dog on a lead” signs.
In the meantime can we ask all dog owners to keep their dog on a lead when walking through this churchyard. It is consecrated land enjoyed by local resident's as a place for reflection and tranquillity. Keeping your dog on a lead will allow all of us to enjoy this City Centre area respectfully. | ||
