ASB- Wheathamsptead. Halloween Weekend

Police have been made aware of several incidents of ASB in Wheathamsptead this weekend. These events were well beyond the ‘high-jinx’ one might associate with Halloween.

Some were reported to Police but many more were shared on a local What's App group. Please can all future reports be called into the FORCE CONTROL ROOM - FCR- via 101 or webchat and NOT emailed to my personal email as this will not generate a log or immediate response.

Several senior resident's had their front door's aggressively knocked on, which caused them alarm!

Worse still was the criminal damage caused to cars travelling south from the village to Nomansland Common. We believe a small group of kids were using catapults to fire soil and stones at vehicles.

Our investigations are ongoing but if you have any evidence that might help Police, please do contact me.
