Good afternoon

I’m PC Scott Norman, one of your new Town Beat Officers, and I’m looking forward to getting to know the community over the coming months.

My role is about more than just policing; it's about building relationships, listening to local concerns, and working alongside residents, businesses, community groups, and partner organisations to help make our town a safer and better place for everyone.

I want to be a familiar and approachable face in the area, someone people feel comfortable speaking to about the issues that affect them. Whether that's antisocial behaviour, concerns about community safety, supporting vulnerable people, or simply sharing ideas on how we can improve the area, I'm here to listen and help where I can.

Please feel free to stop and chat if you see me out and about. The more we work together and communicate openly, the better we can understand local priorities and find effective solutions.
