This week we have seized multiple vehicles from having no tax and vehicles discovered that have bee n used in crime.

we utilised section 60 - this gave us the ability to conduct more stop searched as a result cannabis is seized, a child was discovered left unattended in a car (the parent was later found) and a increase in police patrols / activity increased with in the small heath area.

we have had a arrest in the B&M store.

we have notice an Increase in retail crime around the area - we continuing patrols tacking the issue

we have abso seen an increase in Burglary in the area, a few ways you culd help with preventative measures is the following -

Lower fences at the front around one-metre high are preferable to high fences as they allow for a clear view over the top and don’t provide cover for anyone wishing to hide.

At the rear and sides, taller fencing is recommended to prevent easy access.

Trellis, thorny plants, or a suitable anti-climb topping such as plastic spikes make it difficult for anyone climbing over a fence or gate.

Planting prickly or barbed shrubbery along boundaries and fence lines acts as an effective natural barrier.

Gravel driveways and paths will make sure you hear anyone approach.
