Rapid arrests made after phone robbery

Local officers secured three arrests on the night of October 31 after attending the scene of a reported robbery in Barkingside.

Officers found the victim bleeding from the mouth after she had been assaulted, and her mobile phone stolen. 

Working alongside the victim, officers gathered descriptions of the suspects and managed to track the device using Find My iPhone, which was able to provide live location updates.

Emergency responders and officers from Valentines Safer Neighbourhood Team coordinated to swiftly locate and detain all three suspects within hours of the offence. 

Searches subsequently revealed the victim's stolen mobile phone to be in their possession.

By combining local knowledge with rapid response policing, both teams helped secure a positive outcome and send a clear message that robbery will not be tolerated in our communities.
