We have seen an increase in reports of catalytic converter thefts across the area. These thefts can take place in a matter of minutes, often during the early hours of the morning or in quiet locations.

To help reduce the risk, please consider the following:

   •   Park in a well-lit area where possible.

   •  If you have a garage, use it.

   •  Park close to walls or other vehicles to make access underneath more difficult.

   •  Consider fitting a catalytic converter security marking or protective device.

   •  Report any suspicious behaviour around parked vehicles immediately.
