Violence Against Women and Girls- Upcoming Multi Agency Events

Violence Against Women and Girls- Upcoming Multi Agency Events

Dear residents of Westgate on Sea and Birchington,

Kent Police will be joining other Community Safety Partners from a range of agencies, including Thanet District Council, in hosting street briefings to address violence against women and girls (VAWG) in our communities. This is an area of crime that is a key priority in our Kent Police Control Strategy, and these events are an opportunity to engage with us collectively, ask questions, and for us to disseminate important crime prevention advice and other useful guidance/signposting.

I have listed the timings and locations below. There is no need to book attendance in advance, you can simply come along and engage with us.

Wednesday 25th November 2026 – 1000-1200 hours-  Dog Acre, Station Road, Birchington

Wednesday 25th November 2026 – 1300-1500 hours-  Station Road, Westgate on Sea

With kindest regards

PC Steven England
