Burglary Alert - St James Street |

|
Good evening residents.
The Attempted Burglary occurred at 8:20pm on 1st November 2026
The victim has been alerted when an unknown offender has tried to open the front door handle. The victim has taken hold of the handle preventing the door being opened. On being disturbed the offender has made off in an unknown direction. The exact route taken by the offender while making off is unfortunately unknown at this stage. The victim has recently had a bag stolen (not from the address) which contained a set of house keys and potentially identification of the address. The victim believes that the offender trying the door handle was holding some keys which would link the two events. The victim has subsequently had their locks changed.
