School Keep-Clear Zig-Zag Markings PSPO

Merton Council would like to hear your views about the proposed Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) to help improve safety outside schools across Merton.

School Keep-Clear (zig-zag) markings are placed outside schools to help maintain clear visibility for children, parents, carers and other road users. Vehicles stopping on these markings can obstruct sightlines and create safety concerns, particularly during drop-off and pick-up times.

The proposed PSPO would help address vehicles stopping on school keep-clear markings and support safer access to schools for children, families, and other pedestrians.
