Man charged following Gainsborough fire

A 50-year-old man has been charged following a fire at a property in Gainsborough.

Emergency services were called to a house in Salisbury Street after we received a call at just after 11pm on Monday, 2 November. No injuries were reported.

We have since arrested and charged Anthony Waring, of Salisbury Street, with arson with intent to endanger life and possession of a Class A drug.

He is due to appear at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court today (5 November).
