Good afternoon, We know that people in Cannock are concerned about drug-related anti-social behaviour (ASB).
Now a man and a woman from Cannock have been sentenced in court over the supply of crack cocaine and heroin from a house in the town.
It follows an investigation by our major and organised crime proactive team into a class A drugs operation being run from a house in Cannock. This culminated in officers forcing entry to the address in November last year.
Speaking following sentencing, Chief Superintendent Steve Morrey, of our specialist crime department, said: “Our communities should not have to tolerate the harm caused by drug-related crime.
“We listen carefully to the concerns residents raise with us, and this result shows the difference we can make when local people and police work together.
“We remain dedicated to tackle the supply of drugs and drug-related ASB in our county and seek to make our community a safer place. Please continue to tell us about issues affecting your area so we can take action."
